uPVC windows are typically more affordable, offer excellent thermal insulation and need almost no maintenance — making them the most popular choice for UK homes. Aluminium windows offer slimmer sightlines, exceptional strength and a sleek, contemporary appearance, which makes them ideal for larger openings, modern extensions and properties where design is a priority. Both perform extremely well when paired with quality double or triple glazing.
Yes. All our windows are designed to reduce heat loss, lower your energy bills and cut down on outside noise. We use A-rated glazing options and high-performance frames from VEKA Halo and AluK, combined with Pilkington glass for outstanding thermal and acoustic performance.
Double glazing is the most popular option and delivers excellent insulation for the majority of homes. Triple glazing offers even better thermal and acoustic performance and is worth considering if your property is in a noisy area, exposed to harsh weather, or if you want maximum energy efficiency. Our team will recommend the right specification for your home during the free quote.
Most domestic window installations are completed within 1–3 days, depending on how many windows are being replaced and the complexity of the job. We’ll confirm a clear timeframe in your written quote.
We work efficiently and respectfully in your home, protecting carpets and furniture, tidying up at the end of each day, and removing all old materials when the job is finished.

uPVC doors are a budget-friendly, low-maintenance option offering good insulation and security. Composite doors are made from multiple materials bonded together — typically a solid timber core with a GRP outer skin — giving them greater strength, better thermal performance and a more authentic timber appearance. Composite doors are usually the better choice for front entrances where security and kerb appeal matter most.
Yes. Every door we install comes with multi-point locking and high-security hardware from trusted brands such as Yale and Ultion, plus Fab & Fix and Maco mechanisms. Composite doors also benefit from a reinforced internal structure for added strength.
Yes — aluminium bi-fold doors are one of our specialities. They’re ideal for opening up the back of your home to the garden, offering slim sightlines, smooth operation, excellent thermal performance and impressive kerb appeal.
In many cases, yes — particularly with composite door slabs. We’ll assess this on a free site visit and advise the most cost-effective solution.
Secondary Glazing
Secondary glazing is a slim, independent internal window installed on the inside of your existing windows. It adds a second layer of insulation without replacing the original frames, making it the perfect solution for listed buildings, period properties and homes in conservation areas where the original windows must be preserved.
Yes. Our aluminium secondary glazing is made to measure and can be tailored to virtually any window style, including traditional sash windows, bay windows and arched openings.
Secondary glazing significantly reduces heat loss, dampens external noise (especially traffic and aircraft noise), improves home security and helps cut energy bills — all while keeping your original windows intact.
It depends on your property. For listed buildings or conservation-area homes where original windows can’t legally be replaced, secondary glazing is the ideal answer. For homes where windows can be changed, full replacement double or triple glazing usually gives better long-term value. We’ll give you honest advice without any sales pressure.
Replacement Glass & Repairs
Yes. We replace failed double glazed units that have cracked, smashed or misted up due to a broken seal. In most cases we only need to swap the affected glass unit — not the whole frame — which keeps the cost down.
Condensation between the panes means the airtight seal has failed and moisture is now trapped inside the glass. Once this happens the unit can no longer insulate properly and the affected pane needs replacing. The good news is the rest of the window usually doesn’t need replacing.
Yes — we supply and fit replacement handles, hinges, locks and security upgrades for both windows and doors. This is often a cost-effective alternative to a full replacement.
